Altötting - In the late Saturday evening (February 22nd) there was a fatal accident on the AÖ6 between Unterneukirchen and Kastl . A 21-year-old man was driving his Volvo , got off the road and landed on the roof. He succumbed to his serious injuries .

The young man had left the road with his Volvo XC60 . About 300 meters before the Schmidlehen hamlet, he lost control of his vehicle. It crashed into the tree, tore a bench, and crashed into a small chapel. Finally he ended up on the roof of his Volvo .

Late Saturday evening, February 22, 2020, a serious traffic accident occurred in a district road in the Kastl municipal area, in which a young man lost his life. Prosecutors and police are now investigating the cause of the accident. According to the current state of the police investigations, a young man (21) was driving his Volvo car on the AÖ6 district road from Unterneukirchen towards Kastl on Saturday evening at around 11:05 p.m.
For reasons that have not yet been clarified, the 21-year-old came to the left of the road by car and hit a tree. The Volvo then rolled over and came to rest on the roof. All help came too late for the young driver, who died at the scene of the accident.
On the instructions of the responsible public prosecutor's office in Traunstein, the Altötting police inspection consulted an expert to record the accident. The cause of the accident is to be clarified by an expert opinion.
