The gendarmes of the Orleans research section and the Nogent-le-Rotrou research brigade were mobilized and a forensic doctor from Alençon went there for a first body examination, the magistrate said. "Around 6:00 pm, other witnesses contacted the police after discovering, 300 meters from the first place, the remains of a body, namely a head and upper limbs , " added the prosecutor. "The first observations of the forensic doctor showed that the victim had suffered several injuries to the chest, probably stabbing and that the body had then been cut post mortem, perhaps using a saw" , according to the prosecutor.
The first observations made it possible to determine the identity of the victim, a 38-year-old man, a roofer by profession, living in Autels-Villevillon, a few hundred meters from the discovery of the two parts of his body. "An investigation into flagrancy was opened for murder and attack on the integrity of the corpse. A dozen investigators have been mobilized and hearings are under way, ” says Rémi Coutin.
