The Minister of Awqaf, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sattar El-Sayed stressed that today's reality requires action to correct the religious concepts that have been distorted by extremism and terrorism and to deal with the problems caused by the abundance of transit and invasive digital culture for the consciousness of the individual and society.

In his lecture, Minister El-Sayed pointed out the role of the inclusive interpretation in combating extremism, which he delivered today at the Private University of Antioch in Maarat Sednaya in the presence of His Holiness, Patriarch Mar Ignatius Avram II, Patriarch of Antioch and the rest of the Levant, the Supreme President of the Syriac Orthodox Church in the world, to the role of the national religious institution in restoring correct concepts For the Islamic religion who tried to distort it to contribute with Christianity in building the country and defeating terrorism.

The minister said: “Religion represents truth, goodness and morals. Loving the country is one of faith. We must cultivate the values ​​of citizenship and morals through our teaching of Christianity and Islam in our churches and mosques.”

The Minister of Awqaf pointed out that there is a great responsibility for everyone to educate the generations after the enemies of the country bet on extremism, atonement, terrorism, sedition and media and cognitive misinformation, and they tried to change the parameters of the concepts of the Islamic religion to become a hostage to the terrorists of "ISIS" and "Al-Nusra" and "the Brotherhood", stressing the role of the national religious establishment To show that Christianity and Islam came to make a person happy, not to his misfortune.
