Six Arab and foreign countries announced today the registration of new infections with the Corona virus on their territories.
In Lithuania, Deputy Minister of Health Algirdas Cecilges said in a statement reported by Agence France-Presse that the first infection in the country was recorded for a woman returning from the Italian city of Verona, where she was isolated at the Siauliai Hospital, and the Ministry of Health in Belarus also announced the registration of the first HIV infection with a student coming from the capital Baku Azerbaijan.
In New Zealand, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced the discovery of the first HIV infection in the country, as the patient was admitted to a hospital in Auckland.
In Nigeria, the Ministry of Health stated in a tweet on Twitter that a case of the first Corona virus was recorded in Africa, explaining that an Italian patient had entered the country from Milan.
In Iran, member of the Presidency of the Islamic Shura Council Muhammad Ali Wakili announced that four deputies were infected with the Corona virus and placed in quarantine.
In Mongolia, the official Monsam news agency reported today that President Batulja Khalma and other government officials have been quarantined for 14 days after returning from a visit to China.
For its part, the South Korean health authorities announced that the number of HIV cases has increased to 2337, most of them in Daegu and the neighboring North Gyeongsang Province, while the number of deaths reached 13.
In Bahrain, the Ministry of Health announced three new cases of Coronavirus, taking the total number to 36, according to the official news agency.
