The Chinese National Health Commission announced today that it has received reports of 427 new confirmed cases of the new coronavirus and 47 deaths in the country.
Xinhua quoted the committee as saying that there are 45 deaths in central China's Hubei Province and one in Beijing and Henan, while 2,885 patients have left hospital after recovery, and the number of serious HIV cases has decreased by 288 to 7,664 cases.
The committee pointed out that the total number of HIV infections in China reached 79,251 as of the end of yesterday, while 2,835 people died, 1,418 others are still suspected of having the virus, and a total of 3,9002 people left hospitals after they recovered.
