The weather on Sunday will be marked by a new, very active rainy disturbance across the country. Our partner The weather channel has placed a dozen departments on orange high winds alert.
This disturbance is present from daybreak on Brittany and the ocean front. In the morning, it will sink into a good western half of the country and then shift to the East in the afternoon. It will bring sometimes moderate rains, especially from Brittany to Hauts-de-France. The snow will temporarily mix with the rain over Normandy and Hauts de France.
A strong wind from west to southwest will accompany this agitated weather with gusts up to 90/100 km / h over the northern half of the country as well as over northern Aquitaine, the Massif-central and the Alps of north, even 110/120 km / h on Vendée and Loire-Atlantique.
On the south of the country, the wind will be less strong, except on Corsica where the gusts will reach 90/100 km / h.
After a quieter Sunday to Monday night, a new gale, the third in three days, this time will affect a large southwest quarter of France, then Languedoc Roussillon and Corsica.
