The Moroccan Ministry of Health announced the registration of the first confirmed case of the new Corona virus in the country, indicating that it was a Moroccan citizen who was residing in Italy.
The ministry said in a statement carried by Reuters that "the first case of the newly infected Corona virus, confirmed at the laboratory of the Pasteur Institute in Morocco, is for a Moroccan citizen residing in Italy," adding that "the patient is currently under health care in the isolation unit of a hospital in Casablanca."
In Kiev, Ihor Kuzin, acting head of the Public Health Center of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, said that his country had registered its first case of coronavirus.
