Waakirchen - A truck tipped over on its side in Brunnenweg in Waakirchen. According to the police, the accident happened around 4 p.m. when the 62-year-old driver from Gmund wanted to use the truck crane to lift a rubble container onto the loading area. Because of the narrow street, he had only extended the side supports on the side of the container. When a tree came in his way when he was lifting it, he turned the crane and the load to the side without supports. The truck tipped over and damaged a fence. Nobody was injured. The Waakirchen fire brigade moved in with 20 men to secure leaking liquids. The salvage continued until after 7 p.m. because a second recovery crane had to be called. The first one could not lift the truck.
