They greet each other and the stranger rings the doorbell. There he enters and cheats a retired Italian, 93, with the "uncle's tale."
Later, the offender came out with an envelope where the old woman kept her savings (about 40 thousand dollars), greeted the agent and moved quietly away from the place.
The entire sequence was filmed by security cameras. Even inside the property, on Alberti Street at 1100, in the San Cristóbal neighborhood, where you can see how the woman leads the thief to her room, where he takes the silver from a box in the closet.
The victim was Mariana, a Calabrian immigrant who arrived in Argentina when she was a girl and has five children, one of whom lives with her.

"I believed him and fell into the trap, " adds the victim, without losing his smile and without resentment, though hurt and helpless, to the point that he confesses: "I spent a night I couldn't close my eyes."
