After the brutal crime of Brenda Micaela Gordillo in Catamarca, a new and strong testimony against femicide was known. Through social networks, a young woman revealed the ordeal she lived because of Naim Vera, to the point that she had to leave the province and then the country.

“A former classmate murdered his girlfriend. It scares me to think what he would have done to me, that he hated me, ”he wrote on his Twitter account.

Stop going to school in the last year for Naim Vera and Lucas Ibáñez. My classmates, my teachers and everyone knows how macho they were with me. They denigrated me, they called me a whore in front of whoever. They yelled at me from the car in the street

As it was learned, Vera and her friends posted a pornographic video of the young woman on the Internet and then made bullying when she reported them. Given this situation, he decided to move first to Cordoba and then to Australia, where he currently resides.

“No one can believe what Naim Vera did, but I do. And now that he murdered someone, it gives me goosebumps to think that I wouldn't have shaken my hand to do something to me, ”closed the young woman, who also sympathized with Brenda's family.

Brenda's crime

Vera (19) suffocated the 24-year-old girl, burned her body on a grill and abandoned her remains on a provincial route, at the height of the "El Tala" river ravine.

The femicide happened last Sunday between 4 and 8 in the morning in a duplex apartment, located on Ayacucho Norte Street, in front of the National University of Catamarca, in the provincial capital, owned by the Naim Vera family.

In that place, which was not the family home but a property apparently they had for rent, Vera was with his girlfriend, Gordillo, with whom he apparently had a violent argument that ended with femicide.

According to the spokesperson's account, the fact was discovered only on Sunday afternoon, when Vera appeared next to a lawyer in the Investigation Brigade of the provincial capital and confessed that she had had a violent discussion with Gordillo, in the middle of which she died falling down some stairs .

After that, the young man said, he decided to get rid of the body, burned it on a grill and, dismembered by the fire, abandoned a part in a container near the department and another on the side of the provincial route 4.

Naim Vera, 19, murdered his girlfriend Brenda Micaela Gordillo.

He then told what happened to his family and turned himself in to the police headquarters, where he was detained at the disposal of prosecutor Hugo Costilla, who accused him of the crime of " femicide ."

The autopsy demolished the version of an alleged accident wielded by Vera, which determined that Gordillo died of "mechanical asphyxiation" while trying to defend himself and in his nails found remains of femicide skin.
