Municipal in Paris: our simulator to find out which candidate best suits you

2020-03-05T13:49:21.879Z

The municipal elections in Paris are approaching and many Parisians have not yet made their choice. Thanks to our interactive tool, decoration

Still having trouble finding your way there, a few days before the first round of municipal elections in Paris? If you are one of the many undecided, we have put together a simulator to allow you to identify the candidates who are closest to your concerns.

Transport, security, cleanliness, environment but also housing, finance or education ... What measures do the candidates for mayor of Paris propose, from David Belliard to Cédric Villani, including Agnès Buzyn, Marcel Campion, Rachida Dati, Serge Federbsuch, Anne Hidalgo or Danielle Simonnet? And you, how do you position yourself?

How did we do it?

In all, we have selected around thirty questions (Do we need a municipal police force? Should we be armed? Should we go back to the 4-day week? Should we need more social housing?) Which we invite you to answer . Based on the candidates' program and their statements during the campaign, we analyzed and classified their responses.

If your opinion is the same as the candidate, the latter receives two points. If he offers the opposite of what you want, he gets two removed. If he does not speak on this subject? He receives no points. Finally, if his program is more nuanced than your answer, he is awarded or withdrawn a point.

A podium

This mechanism allows, at the end of the questionnaire, to reveal a trio of candidates: they are, on the questions asked, those to which you are closest.

Obviously, this tool should only be taken for what it is: an indicator. It's up to you, without forgetting that our simulator will never replace a studious consultation of each of the candidates' programs.
