An explosion in an apartment located rue de Provence in Strasbourg left one dead and one injured early this Saturday morning, announced the first deputy mayor of the city, Alain Fontanel.
"An explosion blew an apartment, killing one and injuring him" in a building in the Meinau district, south of Strasbourg, he said on his Facebook page, confirming information from the regional daily newspaper Les Actualités Nouvelles d 'Alsace (DNA).
"A hundred people (have been) taken care of" in a nearby sports center, added Alain Fontanel.
