Emmering / Eichenau - There was suspicion that an unknown person on Roggensteiner Straße had disposed of asbestos boards on a dirt road between Emmering and Eichenau. The so-called ABC alarm was triggered. The fire departments from Emmering and Gernlinden, the district fire inspection, several Sanka and the police moved out.
"There were no more plates on site, just dust," reports Emmering's Vice Commandant Stephan Hahn. The emergency personnel carried off the dust in protective suits and secured it in bags. "There is no danger," said Hahn. Now the powder is examined. If it is actually asbestos, the perpetrator will be brought to trial. According to the police, there is information about him.
