A person who attended the CPAC Conservative Conference a week and a half ago, attended by senior Conservative Party officials including President Trump, turned out to be the carrier of the Corona virus - Reuters reported on Sunday.
Event organizers confirmed that one of the attendees at the annual conference, held in Washington, DC last month, had a positive result in the test of Cubid Disease 19, held in a New Jersey hospital.
The conference was attended by several Conservative Party officials, including US President Donald Trump and Deputy Mike Pence. However, organizers say the patient did not interact directly with the two. Trump responded to the news and told reporters he was "not worried and would continue to attend political conferences."
The conference, held Feb. 26 and 29 in Maryland, bordering Washington, D.C., was attended by other politicians, including Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Trump's senior adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Senator Marcia Blackburn of the state of Tennessee.
Meanwhile, four days ago, it was reported that at the AIPAC Jewish Conference, which is considered pro-Israeli, people coming from New York were exposed to a person with the virus. Dozens of congresses, including Vice President Mike Pence, came to Washington.
