More than 70 percent of people infected with coronavirus in China have recovered, said Director-General of the World Health Organization, Drus Adhanum Gypressus.
"Among the countries with the largest number of infected people, China is putting the virus under control," Xinhua quoted Gipressus as saying at a press conference today, noting that the virus has become epidemic as it continues to spread throughout the world.
"Now that the new Corona virus has taken a foothold in many countries, the threat of the epidemic has become very real, but it will be the first epidemic in history that can be controlled," he added.
The World Health Organization announced in a statement the day before yesterday that China and other countries demonstrate the possibility of slowing the spread of the Corona virus and reducing its impact through carrying out work that is universally applicable.
