The Kabbalists started a war against the Corona: Kabbalists and well-known rabbis in the Sephardi community led by Jerusalem's Chief Rabbi Shlomo Amar embarked on an unusual prayer campaign on Monday to prevent the spread of the Corona in the State of Israel.

The timing is not accidental. Today, Taanit Esther, in memory of Queen Esther's request from the Jewish Mordechai, in her scroll to pray for her success in her mission, saved the Jewish people. Intersections are generally considered to be a time of need for prayers for trouble and challenges, and not least for Esther Taanit.

The rabbis, headed by Rabbi Amar, Rabbi Zion Buiron and Rabbi Yechiel Abuchatzira, flew in a helicopter, donating a resident abroad, over Israeli borders in the north of the country, watching over them and praying that the Corona would not continue to spread in Israel and stuck in shofar. In addition, they held a prayer in Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai's grave in Miron.

At the same time, a unique event will be held today at the Rashbi tomb in Meron, led by the rabbis of Safed. Because the Ministry of Health has ordered a ban on large groups, the rabbis initiated a mass prayer that first took place via cellphone.

About ten rabbis will gather at 4pm above the tomb marking in Meron and pray to stop the Corona virus, while at the same time many of them from around the world and the world will be joined by cell phone and the Internet. The event will also be broadcast on the "Israel Today" website and app.

"Halacha states that when a person cannot come to the synagogue, he will pray while the public is praying," the initiators of the prayer explain. "At a time when the whole world is spreading the virus, which has yet to find a cure, we must direct our hearts together to our Heavenly Father and pray for complete medicine throughout the world."

Prayer initiatives remain not only in Meron and among the Kabbalists and Rabbis. In the global organization of synagogues and communities yesterday, the synagogues in Israel and the Diaspora called on the coming Saturdays to pray for the peace of the citizens of the world and among them with Israel everywhere for a complete medicine:
