Closure of schools, inadvisable travel, quarantine, border controls, even ban on entry ... One after the other, European governments are announcing measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, some particularly drastic. Officials from several countries spoke yesterday evening, as the continent is heading for a slowdown, with almost half of the European population affected.
The educational environment is the first affected. Thursday afternoon, around a third of the countries of the European Union closed all their educational establishments, from nurseries to universities. This is particularly the case for Greece, Denmark, Ireland and Poland. Another third, including Spain, did so on part of its territory.
