An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale struck today Qom, south of the Iranian capital, Tehran, without receiving any immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
The Iranian news agency, "IRNA", said that the tremor occurred at a depth of 10 km, and its epicenter was 16 km from Qom, 17 km from Jamkran and 23 km from the city of Kohk.
And an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck the border city of Dahlran yesterday in Ilam province, in western Iran, without any reports of injuries or damage.
