The relevant authorities and engineering elements of the Syrian Arab Army continued today to secure the international road (Hama-Aleppo) in the Marathat area after dirt berms and barriers were removed and the area was combed and mines were laid by the occupation soldiers at a point of the Turkish occupation forces.

A SANA reporter stated that elements of the engineering units of the army combed the two sides of the international road in the area of ​​Marathat and removed mines and explosive devices, while the road transport mechanisms removed the dirt berms from the edges of the road and completed its settlement and became completely safe and appropriate in front of the traffic.

Director of the General Corporation for Road Transport in Hama, Khidr Fatoom, explained in a statement to the reporter that the engineering mechanisms of the institution started the operations of deporting dirt and mounds and the road was opened for traffic for civilians, which eased their suffering and contributed to the revitalization of traffic on the entire international road Damascus Aleppo.

In a statement to the correspondent, a number of citizens expressed their satisfaction with the opening of the road, which contributed to alleviating their suffering and shortened the distance for them, due to dispensing through a subsidiary to bypass the town of Maratat and then returning to the international road again due to the presence of dirt berms and barriers erected by Turkish occupation soldiers.
