The Corona crisis that has been plaguing us over the past few weeks has been a major blow to the restaurant world as well, and already today (Saturday) the sad news of the closure of quite a few famous chef restaurants has begun. Most of the restaurants are housed in hotels, such as Nordoy Cafe, which is located at the Nordoy Tel Aviv Hotel, Kualis, which is located in the Hilton, Meyer Sir Blue Sky Restaurant, and another restaurant, Yam, which opened only a month ago.

This morning, chef Yuval Ben Neria, one of Israel's most celebrated chefs, also announced the closure of his two restaurants, Ya Pan and Taizo. The first had to close at the end of the month so that it actually closed permanently, while Taizu was scheduled to return to activity.

Today we made one of the most difficult professional decisions since the opening of the Taizu Group. With great regret and genuine concern for the peace of our employees and guests - we have decided to close the Taizu and Japan restaurants until further notice. We do our best to take care of our people during these difficult days, and look forward with hope. Apologies to our wonderful clients who have supported us in recent days. Another chef restaurant that closes its doors is Chef Yaron's tutu, who wrote on his Instagram: "For years Toto has been open to you, 364 days a year, from morning to night. Even when it was bad here, when it was not pleasant to enjoy life, wars, landslides and days We love you, and are happy with your love. We decided not to put this love to the test. So that we can deal with the enormous difficulty that the crisis brings with us, we decided to close Toto tomorrow, see you soon. "

For many years, Toto has been open to you, 364 days a year, morning to night, even when it was bad, when it was not pleasant to enjoy life, wars, landslides and hard days. We love you, and are happy with your love. We decided not to put that love to the test. So that we can deal with the enormous difficulty that the crisis brings, we decided to close Tutu tomorrow, but be clear: like a tree bending in the wind, letting it pass over it: only until the storm passes! See you soon

"Right now most restaurants are troubled by two things," says a restaurant owner from the center. "The first is how they can help all the workers and pay them salaries, and the second and the less serious thing is the fact that tomorrow the 15th of the month, meaning, VAT day, has to pay advances and a lot of things about who do not want or cannot pay, have to deal with it And help. "

On the other hand, there are restaurants that at least currently choose to remain open, but have made the necessary changes to comply with the new laws and restrictions. One of the restaurants is Gaston Restaurant in Airport City, which announced to its customers that they are welcome to arrive while ensuring that there is no gathering of more than 100 people, including staff, and emphasizing disinfection and larger spaces than usual between tables.

However, unfortunately, the worst is still ahead of us, and more and more culinary restaurants and businesses will be closing their doors, either temporarily or permanently, with expected stricter restrictions on the economy.
