The Russian government has approved a set of measures to combat the spread of the newly infected Corona virus "Covid 19" on Russian soil.
A statement issued by the Russian government and transmitted by the Sputnik Agency stated that Prime Minister Mikhail Micostin instructed to temporarily suspend the passage of foreign citizens across the borders with Poland and Norway, to enter into force from tomorrow, as entry by land on the borders for work, as well as for private, educational and tourist purposes is prohibited. .
The statement added that the citizens of Belarus, members of official delegations and persons holding a residence permit in the Russian Federation will be excluded.
Michustin also instructed the Russian Ministry of Health to inform medical facilities, including those of first aid, that must be provided in the event of infection with the Coronavirus.
In turn, the President of the Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko announced the imposition of a ban on any foreign trips for members of the Council in light of the outbreak of the Corona virus emerging in the world except in exceptional cases.
Matviyenko told reporters that a ban had been imposed on visits by foreign delegations from countries in bad conditions due to the outbreak of Corona in their territories, in addition to imposing additional restrictions on granting visas to enter the headquarters of the Federation Council in Moscow.
