Dominican Republic holds municipal elections

This Sunday the municipal elections of the Dominican Republic are held, which had been suspended on February 16. The electoral crisis revolved around a newly released automated voting system. For these elections, almost seven and a half million people have been called. 158 mayors and vice mayors, thousands of councilors, and other positions will be elected.
