Two detainees were killed during a mutiny in a prison in Irbid province, Jordan, after a two-month ban on family visits due to the coronavirus, the state agency Petra said.
Jordan announced on Sunday six new cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including four French tourists, bringing to seven the number of people who have been infected with the disease in the kingdom.
