Lebanon: people confined to their homes, international airport closed

People in Lebanon have been asked to stay home for two weeks to help stop the spread of the new coronavirus, authorities said on Sunday.

The country's only international airport will be closed from Wednesday until March 29, Information Minister Manal Abdel Samad said at a press conference. Lebanon has recorded three deaths from Covid-19 and nearly 100 cases.
