2020-03-15T22:13:39.789Z

Ten ministers were involved in the municipal battle, some were at the top of the list, others were not. What fate did they experience this

They were ten to appear in the first round of municipal elections. Confronted with the unpopularity of government policy for months, notably with the pension reform, the ministers obtained for some good results, leading to their re-election in the first round, others are in difficulty.

Édouard Philippe in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime) leads the first round with 43.60% of the vote before the communist Jean-Paul Lecoq (35.88%). Abstention reached 60.4% in the port city. The Prime Minister has few reserves of votes for the second round. In 2014, the one who was not yet in Matignon was re-elected in the first round.

Gérald Darmanin , Minister of Action and Public Accounts, was re-elected in Tourcoing (Nord) in the first round. He will remain first deputy.

Franck Riester had said that elected, he would be n ° 2 in Coulommiers (Seine-et-Marne) of which he was mayor until 2017. With 58.85% of the votes, the Minister of Culture was re-elected as of first round.

Thank you to the Columériennes and Columériens who came to vote. Our @CouloDemain list is elected this evening from the first round with 58.85% of the votes. With Laurence Picard and the whole team, we will live up to their confidence. # Municipales2020

Sébastien Lecornu (Collectivités) in Vernon, in tandem with François Ouzilleau, was re-elected.

Thank you to Vernonnaises and Vernonnais for their trust.

This result must however be welcomed with sobriety in view of the health situation in our country. pic.twitter.com/AIDbPqJMVM
