The environmental candidate Pierre Hurmic (EELV) leads the first round in Bordeaux with 35-35.9% of the vote, ahead of the outgoing mayor Nicolas Florian (LR, 33.4-34%), according to two estimates.
The LREM candidate, Thomas Cazenave, with 12-12.9% of the votes, and Philippe Poutou (NPA) with 10.8-12% are outdistanced, according to the Harris Interactive-Epoka institutes with TF1-LCI and RTL and Ipsos-Sopra Steria for France Télévisions / Radio France / Parliamentary channels.
