The outgoing mayor of Carpentras, Serge Andrieu, leads the first round of the municipal elections, with 35.85% of the votes, according to the final results. It is ahead of the union list of rights and RN carried by Bertrand de la Chesnais, with 30.8%. The Republican candidate Claude Melquior is third, with 17.3% of the vote.
