2020-03-15T20:49:21.594Z

Anne Hidalgo is given in front of Rachida Dati and Agnès Buzyn in the first round this Sunday.

First estimates, eagerly awaited, were revealed in the race for mayor of Paris this Sunday evening shortly after 9 p.m. Anne Hidalgo is in the lead with 29.8%, ahead of Rachida (LR, 22%), Agnès Buzyn (18.3%) and David Belliard (EELV, 11%), according to an estimate by Elabe - Berger Levrault for Le Parisien and BFMTV .

Next would come Cédric Villani (ex-LREM, 6.7%) and Danielle Simonnet (4.5-5%) as well as Serge Federbusch, supported by the RN, obtained 1 to 1.2%.

Ipsos - Sopra figures released by France 2 give similar estimates: 30.2% for Hidalgo, ahead of Rachida Dati (LR, 22%) and Agnès Buzyn (LREM, 17.6%). David Belliard would again be 4th with 11.6%.

First figures to be taken with caution

These figures are to be taken with great caution because of the particularities of the Paris ballot, which is played out at the level of elections by district.

The campaign was marked by the withdrawal of Benjamin Griveaux, caught in the storm caused by the dissemination of intimate videos on the Internet. He was replaced at short notice by Agnès Buzyn, who left her health ministry to wage an express battle.

The question of alliances will now punctuate the campaign by the second round. If it takes place, since this Sunday, several voices were raised to request a postponement.
