U.S

The United States ban applies to all 26 countries in the Schengen Area free movement zone: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

The island nations of the United Kingdom and Ireland are not included in the ban, despite COVID-19 cases in both countries.

Trump assured on Wednesday that there would be "exemptions for Americans who have undergone appropriate evaluations."

Later, the guide issued by the Department of Homeland Security clarified that the ban did not apply to US citizens or their families.

The United States already has other restrictions in force.

Passengers who have been in China and Iran in the last 14 days will not be able to enter.

U.S. citizens who have been to China in the past 14 days can enter the U.S., but will be directed through one of 11 airports where they will undergo health screenings. Airports include Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Honolulu, Los Angeles, New York (JFK or EWR), San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington.

Australia

Despite Thursday's speculation that following the US move, Australia would do the same and extend its travel restrictions to Europe, this was not the case.

Passengers who have transited or have been in China in the last 14 days cannot enter or transit Australia. This does not apply to the airline's crew, Australian citizens and their immediate family members, or New Zealand residents residing in Australia.

Passengers who have been to Iran, South Korea, or Italy this month cannot enter Australia for 14 days, from the time they left those countries.

This does not apply to Australian citizens, permanent residents of Australia or their immediate family members, who are required 14 days self-isolation.

Austria

Austria introduced border controls and banned all arrivals from Italy, the Chinese province of Hubei, Iran and South Korea, with the exception of those with a medical certificate of no more than four days old confirming that they are not affected by the coronavirus. .

Cambodia

Cambodia is imposing a ban on foreigners arriving from Italy, Germany, Spain, France and the United States for 30 days. The ban will take effect on March 17, the prime ministers' office said in a Twitter post.

China

On Wednesday, Beijing announced a mandatory 14-day quarantine for all international travelers arriving in the Chinese capital.

Across the country, passengers arriving from Iran, Italy, Japan, or Korea and traveling to Beijing, Guangzhou, or Shanghai will be subject to quarantine for 14 days.

Colombia

Passengers arriving from China, France, Italy or Spain must complete a health registration form upon arrival and insulate themselves for 14 days.

South Korea

Visitors who have been in the Chinese province of Hubei in the last 14 days and passport holders from that region will not be able to enter.

Croatia

Czech Republic

Jordan

Morocco

New Zealand

Turkey

Vietnam

Travelers who have been to the 26 European countries in the Schengen Area, plus the United Kingdom, in the last 14 days, will not be able to enter or transit through Vietnam.

Visas on arrival will also not be issued to all foreign citizens, according to a government statement released on Saturday.

Travel restrictions will take effect at midnight Sunday, local time, and will last 30 days.
