The Acting Governor of Idlib Muhammad Fadi Al-Saadoun stated in a statement to a SANA correspondent that the governorate has conducted inspections of all service institutions and government departments in Khan Sheikhoun and Altmanaa, conducting the necessary studies and assessing the damages and working to remove the rubble from the streets and to repair sewage and main roads.

Al-Saadoun pointed to working with international organizations to contribute to the reconstruction in Khan Sheikhoun, especially the rehabilitation of the Talas station that feeds the city and its countryside with water and the rehabilitation of the health center there, indicating that two schools were recently equipped with an ambulance in the city of Khan Sheikhoun in order to receive students whose families returned to City.

Al-Saadoun indicated that the assessment of the damage to the city of Maarat al-Numan due to terrorist attacks is completed. Work is underway to clear the rubble, clean the streets, and prepare for the reconstruction of government institutions. In cooperation with the central roads, the international highway Hama-Aleppo was rehabilitated within the administrative borders of Idlib Governorate, where the mounds were removed. And repairing all the potholes on the road, and holding several meetings with the owners of the facilities in order to invest and return them to service.

Al-Saadoun pointed out that several development projects have been studied for the newly liberated areas from terrorism to be funded by the government in addition to operating a number of fuel stations to serve the mechanisms that will pass from the international road. The possibility of providing the recently liberated municipalities with the necessary mechanisms of tractors and cleaning mechanisms to do their job well has been studied. .

As for the areas liberated last year, such as Sinjar and its villages between Al-Saadoun, 48 schools and civil affairs departments were opened in Sinjar, Abu Al-Dhour and a civil court, while three health centers will soon be opened in Hawa, Sinjar and Humeimat Al-Dair, and the liberated countryside has been covered with wells and manholes, and work is currently being done. In cooperation with international organizations, to deliver water to the Hmeimat Al-Dair region.

Al-Saadoun added that we are currently working on rehabilitating several centers for receiving wheat in Sinjar and Maarat al-Numan and Saraqib to ease the burdens on farmers and equipping a fodder center in Khan Sheikhoun, noting that all areas located east of the international road and the lands of Khan Sheikhoun entered into the agricultural plan for this year in addition to Sinjar and Abu Al-Dhour, where it is estimated The areas newly included in the agricultural plan are about one thousand square kilometers.

The charge d'affaires of the Governor of Idlib pointed out that the executive office set a plan to transfer several government departments to the city of Khan Sheikhoun, where the district was prepared late last year, while the Water Corporation and City Council staff are present there, as well as bakery workers, and the infrastructure is prepared to transfer all government departments to Khan Sheikhoun, respectively, and there. Departments need contacts and an internet network to work, such as finance, banking, and transportation, indicating that work is being done to prepare the city's infrastructure to move the departments to it temporarily, pending the liberation of the Idlib city center.

Al-Saadoun pointed out that a plan has been developed with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and a number of international organizations for the establishment of intensive literacy courses after some 200 literacy courses were implemented in the liberated countryside during the last period in addition to awareness and education courses on how to deal with the remnants of war and rehabilitation Psychological, especially children, and helping families set up small and micro projects that contribute to finding a financial resource that helps them endure life conditions.

Al-Saadoun pointed out that there is a shortage in the number of drivers of engineering mechanisms for technical services, where a plan has been put in place to restore and provide them with workers according to annual contracts, and there is a plan to announce a competition to restore the shortage in all the owners, calling on the relevant authorities to increase the province's allocations of diesel due to the entry of new agricultural lands into service and an increase The number of gas cylinders after the liberation of new areas and the return of the population to them, noting the need to rehabilitate the two fuel stations belonging to the Union of Peasants in order to bring them into service.
