A number of countries in the world today recorded new infections and deaths of the Corona virus at a time when countries are taking further measures in an attempt to limit the spread of the epidemic.

In Italy, the Civil Defense announced 627 new deaths from the virus in the last 24 hours, in a new record number, bringing the death toll to 4,032 in this country most affected in the world.
