(CNN Brazil) - Inspired by a church in Italy, a parish in the city of Curitiba, state of Paraná, southern region of Brazil, put photos of its faithful on the benches of the place.
So far, more than 170,000 photos have been sent to the church, and even the walls have been covered.
The initiative means that priests do not feel alone when they celebrate Masses without the presence of the faithful.
