The father of two 15-year-old daughters has been an employee of the district youth ring in Munich-Land for 20 years. Together with his team, he wants to develop a vision of what needs-based open child and youth work in Neuried can mean. "We are very keen to intensify working with others," he says.
To keep it from being a vision, he has spent a lot of time networking since he took office in January. He is in exchange with the scout tribe Bären Neuried, who have currently found shelter in Juha, with the neighboring neighborhood aid, with the library and with the music school. He would also like to contact the nearby TSV. Because so far he has stated: "It is really nice. In Neuried there is a great openness to work together. ”He can imagine that concerts of the music school will also take place in the Juha in the future, or that the scouts will help shape the holiday program. “The house is beautiful and spacious. Think beyond community boundaries
Ortlieb thinks beyond the boundaries of the community. Together with Perspective-3, an institution of the Archbishop's Youth Welfare Office, the Juha is organizing an event for the end of April in which the youth can decorate a bus from Perspective-3 inside and outside together with a well-known graffiti artist. During the Mardi Gras holidays he had been to Israel to exchange specialists and is now planning to meet young people from the Würmtal valley, with peers from Poland and Israel.
Ortlieb needs personnel to expand the range in Neuried. As of September, youth social work is to be strengthened by a force with a three-quarter position. So far there is only one job in this area. Sarah Hys leaves Juha at the end of April because she's moving. This position is to be filled from 1 May. The tender is running. Ortlieb expects more difficulties here than when networking in Neuried: "The market has been swept relatively empty."
