In these times of confinement, a number of videos parade on the Internet where all ages express themselves through poems, even very young children. The French have talent and do not hesitate to share it. Ménestrel, troubadour, dreamer ... take your pen and reveal your unsuspected qualities as writers by participating in the RATP 2020 Grand Prix Poetry.
Over 10,000 participants
With these ten thousand participants last year, the event started on March 11. Registration ends on April 14. To participate it is very simple, just register on the dedicated site where three age categories are offered: children under 12, young people under 18 and adults. The poem can be written in verse or prose, short (4 lines maximum) or long (14 lines maximum).
The jury is chaired by Izïa Higelin. She writes from an early age and promotes her new album, Citadelle . For her: "Poetry is everywhere, in the songs, of course, which are real poetic works, but also in all the little things in life. It all depends on the way you look at them and the sensitivity of each one. ”
For this jury, she is assisted by personalities and professionals from the world of the arts and letters, cultural journalists and representatives of the RATP.

Well-deserved awards
The ten finalists from all categories will have their works displayed in the metro during the two summer months and thus read by thousands of users. The hundred best poems will constitute a collection printed under the cut of Gallimard. In addition, other attractive rewards are offered: the winner of the children will receive a gift voucher worth 100 €, that of the young people, a tablet and those of the adults a weekend for two in a European city. .
