Corona virus map: Germany map shows current case numbers in real time
First message from March 11, 2020: Munich / Baltimore (USA) - A team of geographers and data scientists from Germany has now developed a dashboard with a map that shows the spread of the corona virus in real time for Germany.
The individual federal states are shown in different shades of blue: the darker the blue, the more cases there are. In addition, the dashboard shows the number of confirmed infections and the death rate , which is currently less than 0.2% (as of March 11, 2020).
Furthermore, the federal states are listed according to the number of current infections. For each federal state, the dashboard also provides the number of residents, which is compared to current Corona cases.
The Coronavirus Germany map is available here: Coronavirus Germany map.
The information is based on figures from the Robert Koch Institute, the project is scientifically supported by the University of Bonn.

Corona virus map also shows worldwide distribution
For a long time now, there has been a map with worldwide figures on the spread of the corona virus *. Here are red dots that show the number of all confirmed Covid 19 cases. If the numbers increase, the points grow.
A team of researchers from the USA is behind the map. At the Hopkins University in Baltimore, data from WHO and some national health authorities have been collected since the virus broke out. With the help of a programmed card , the data can be viewed by everyone. The developers around Lauren Gardner want to use this card to bring transparency to the rapidly developing spread of the virus. Downloads for current figures are not only available to researchers, but to all users.
