2020 local elections: run-off elections in the Munich district - district and mayor elections
District election: incumbent Christoph Göbel (CSU) and challenger Christoph Nadler (Greens) compete against each other. Christoph Göbel emerged as the favorite from the first ballot on March 15.

City of Garching: Dietmar Gruchmann (SPD) against Jürgen Ascherl (CSU)

In the runoff election two weeks after the first ballot of the Bavarian local election, the voters finally decide between two candidates.
