The Mexican athlete who recovered from the coronavirus 1:14

(CNN Spanish) - Mariana Arceo Gutiérrez, a Mexican pentathlete, recently published a video on her social networks, assuring that she is the first Mexican athlete to recover from the coronavirus.
Arceo claimed to have contracted the covid-19 coronavirus while preparing in Barcelona for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Mariana had also reported that in the sports center where she was, there was a contagion and therefore the concentrated athletes had to evict. As soon as she returned to Mexico, she was diagnosed and admitted to the National Institute of Respiratory Diseases (INER).

The pentathlete was a gold medal at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games, a title that gave Tokyo 2020 a place. And also in 2019, she was crowned world champion in Budapest in this specialty.

The modern pentathlon is a discipline that combines, as its name implies, five disciplines: horse riding, swimming, precision shooting, fencing and cross country running.

This was Arceo's complete message after overcoming the illness.
