Muzna Olabi, the society’s board chairman, stated that the initiative aims to distribute about 100 food parcels to the families of children with cancer to reduce their burdens in light of the precautionary measures taken to tackle the Corona virus.

In Tartous, the "Wasl Soutak" volunteer group participated in the campaign of distributing food and humanitarian aid targeting the families of the martyrs, the wounded and the missing, and the families whose activities were suspended as a result of precautionary measures to address the Corona virus.

The aid distributed by seven volunteers from the group includes food items such as sugar, rice, oil and tomato Lord in addition to material amounts, according to what the members of the group showed to about 170 families, including 80 in the city of Tartus and the rest in the Al Qadmous countryside, where distribution was made in several villages, including Al-Hattaniyah, Wadi Al-Suqi and Joufin Al-Fneitiq.
