The United States crossed the threshold of 100,000 corona virus infection on Saturday night. The total number of patients now stands at 104,256 and the death toll has crossed 1,700. Nearly half of the infections are in the state of New York, which is undoubtedly the largest outbreak, with more than 46,000 patients.

The U.S. Engineer Corps is examining 114 facilities in all 50 states to make them potential temporary hospitals in an effort to increase the nation's hospital capacity in anticipation of an expected influx of hundreds of thousands of Corona patients. Four temporary hospitals will open in the New York area over the next two weeks.
As mentioned earlier, it was only yesterday that the United States first overtook China and became the leading country with the number of the world's largest corona patients.
New York State is currently in complete disarray for the U.S. Coronus virus. The state has 53,000 inpatient beds, but officials say they will need 140,000 at the height of the crisis in three weeks. The governor of New York continues to criticize Trump for the spread of the virus.

At the same time, Abbott Laboratories say the company has received US marketing approval for a corona virus diagnostic test that can deliver results to patients in just a few minutes.
The US Food and Drug Administration has granted approval to the company under emergency permits. The company stated that it intends to start distributing the test next week and that it will raise production to 50,000 tests a day.
"This is a significant leap," said John Perles, vice president of research and development at Abbott. "You can get a positive result in five minutes and a negative result in 13 minutes. You can go into the clinic and get real results while you're there."
The company was approved for testing last week and said it would immediately distribute 150,000 of the tests across the United States. Abbott says the company plans to produce 5 million tests a month.
