She embodied the “Mutter Beimer” for almost 35 years: Marie-Luise Marjan practically witnessed the birth of “Lindenstrasse” and with her role as a down-to-earth housewife it is an integral part of the previous evening series. But until the 1758 episodes of the stories based on the ideas of the inventor Hans Geißendörfler were in the box, just as interesting stories had accumulated behind the scenes. In an interview with Bildplus, Marjan has now chatted out of the "Lindenstrasse" sewing box and revealed, among other things, how she could save her series character from a bad stroke of fate.

"After her divorce, Hans Geißendörfer wanted her mother to get breast cancer," remembers Marie Luise-Marjan of an original idea by the "Lindenstrasse" inventor, which she did not really like for her role. In her opinion, that would have been too much punishment, which is why she said to Geißendörfler: "That doesn't work at all." By acting on him, he ultimately ultimately rejected his idea: "Hans often asked us if we were playing something would like."
