After the announcement of the death of Patrick Devedjan this Sunday morning, it is the turn of the honorary mayor of Choisy-le-Roi, 82, Daniel Davisse to succumb to Covid-19 at Henri-Mondor hospital in Créteil, announces Le Parisien.

Figure of the French Communist Party, part of the section of Vitry and then of Thiais before being hoisted chief of staff to the Minister of Transport Charles Fiterman under Mitterrand from 1981 to 1984, Daniel Davisse had moved to Choisy-le-Roi in 1994 where he had already been a municipal councilor since 1983. He was also vice-president of transport for the Val-de-Marne general council from 2004 to 2011.
