The Ministry of the Interior affirmed that all Syrian citizens entering the country from Lebanon through illegal crossings will be quarantined and referred to the judiciary.
In a statement today, the Ministry said, SANA received a copy of it. The Ministry of the Interior confirms that all Syrian citizens entering the country from Lebanon through illegal crossings will be interdicted, investigated, referred to the judiciary, prosecution of all those who facilitated their entry, and took the necessary legal measures against them.
The Ministry of Interior announced on the twenty-second of this month, the closure of all crossings in front of the movement of arrivals, including the Syrians, from Lebanon until further notice, in the framework of procedures to address the Corona virus.
The decision excluded freight cars, with drivers subjected to the necessary medical checks at border posts.
