Pita meat - just how perfect it is, who are we to argue with trends? • "Daily delivery restaurants

Meat inside a pita - how simple is that perfect, who are we arguing with trends? • "Daily Shipping" - the pita test

At a time when the entire culinary world is in dire straits, many restaurateurs have begun to work in delivery format for as long as possible, even if they were not used to doing so by now.

For them and you surfers, we launch the "Daily Shipping" section, which daily reviews a shipment or two from places that until a few days ago we were used to coming to and eating upscale meals, but the "situation" made them temporarily, and who may even know permanently, the shipping world.

It is not yet a burger, the undisputed king of the shipping world in Israel and Tel Aviv in particular. It is also not pizza, a dignity in its place and we will reach it too, and still, slowly without your noticing, the "meat-pita" world on a variety of issues has taken a pretty significant share in the shipping world.

Why not? It's not a burger that usually comes down to shipping, it's not a pizza that "forces" you to eat a whole tray if you're alone, and it's made up of two very favorite ingredients - dough and meat. Where can one already fall? In no time, quite a few "mouthpieces" have sprung up in and around the city, so the wide supply, plus the fast deliveries of Walt and Nathan Biss, will give you a bottom line of satisfying, delicious, cheap and hot food - and that's what we want in our comfort food delivery on these crazy days.

So we randomly chose three familiar places from Tel Aviv: "Pita Kitchen" by Night Kitchen, which returned to us after a few months' absence, between him and Rothschild, needless to say, and the latter - the new pistachios of the "Yashka" chain. Examine the three by the same categories: Test The heat, the rag test (or by its more polite name, the wet pita test) and a general grade.

Kitchen in the pita

We didn't have much choice, so we ordered all types of pita: pita with smoked and grilled chicken with spices, pita kebab with shade greens with onion greens and spices, pita with unripe meat after 8 hours cooking. In addition, we also ordered 'Ezra' Aja potatoes from potatoes, and the only negative thing you will read in this review is that they were too salty, maybe the chef is in love with the delivery concept, me too.

The heat test: For proper disclosure it should be noted that the restaurant is less than a mile from my place of residence, but there are restaurants that can ruin it too, here it did not happen. The pita was warm, well built, loaded with good, and no ingredient was damaged as a result of shipping.

The rag test: One pita, the one with the kebab, was ripped off for no wrong in the paw, and this too is only at the end and overstuffed by ingredients. The others, despite being packed with meat and other vegetables, were not often to fall apart even in their bottom, which is always a recipe for disaster.

Between him

Speaking of Pita, we can't help but mention him. Little chance you are unfamiliar with this very funny and delicious phenomenon. Binu has long since become a Doctor Shakshuka with a delicious Shakshuka to a star. Beyond that, the point of taste is what ultimately determines - we ordered three pita, not a simple challenge to deliver, and interesting results.

The dishes we tasted were Shawarma lamb in pita, steak in pita and poppy in pita. The most delicious dish was the steak quite surprisingly, the successful shawarma took my second and poppy spot which was also quite successful but not something we didn't taste anywhere else was the third of the three dishes.

The heat test: Cold meat that is supposed to be hot is one of the least tasty things and so the shipper faces a challenge, you need to know that the meat does not really cook, pack properly and ship as fast as possible. In this challenge he managed to meet the dignity, the meat came hot, the steak in the pita, a dish that was so hard to succeed it was excellent, soft and tasty.

The rag test : Here, too, he and Pita managed to meet the challenge and in my opinion for two reasons. The first is the very fast delivery and the second - the pita is very high quality which is a very important issue when ordering a pita dish. Most places less emphasis on the type of pita and more on the meat, here you can do it from all directions.

I tasted Crispy Pita Pita - chunks of crunchy poppy crunch, house crunch, pickled lemon, fried eggplant, rocket leaves and tahini

And gluten-free kebab in Lapa. The dishes came well packed along with a selection of salads and a huge box of pickles. For dessert, we also received a chocolate mousse fur which was very surprisingly good for a dish that had to be outlawed in 1997 along with bandanas and t-shirts.

The heat test: the pita came with a double wrapper + a special box that usually accommodates hamburgers in questionable deliveries. The poppy stayed perfectly warm and did not let the cold ingredients affect it

The rag test: The pita stood firm and did not even consider falling apart. She stayed in one piece right up to the end (4 minutes and standing). Thank God. The pita was completely dry on the outside, with no lubricated fingerprints, except ours, and showed remarkable stability.

In conclusion, you know these games of the little kids who finally came to a parent and said "the sport won and nobody lost", so that's about the situation here, except for the sport. Everything was delicious to us, all beautiful. Surrey, sue us.
