Otherwise Demmel was inferior in every other community in Niedermaier. Niedermaier performed the strongest in Schlehdorf (71.34 percent), in his home town of Bad Tölz Niedermaier received 70.95 percent of the vote.

21:31, district: The turnout in the district election was 57.99 percent. Josef Niedermaier received 36,594 votes (62.80 percent), Anton Demmel 21,674 votes (37.20 percent).
