Kochel am See - The building contractor Anton Samm, who lives in Kochel, died a few days ago at the age of 83. In 1976 the trained carpenter had become self-employed. His work in the areas of housing construction, social housing and local models, commercial construction, banks / savings banks, schools, kindergartens and special buildings earned him considerable business success and recognition in the industry. His company was based in Geretsried. He was personally friends with the mayor Siegfried Zauner and the life aid chairman Gregor Dorfmeister, which is why the reconstruction of the burnt down ducal house and the many construction projects of the life aid and the Oberland workshops were a special matter of the heart. Dorfmeister (†) appreciated that he was always a guarantee for solid construction quality, keeping to deadlines and meeting deadlines.
Anton Samm was also active as a councilor for your home
Samm's private life was for the family, his friends and the mountains. With his wife he had three daughters, nine grandchildren enriched his life. He had been a member of the Kochel mountain rescue service since his youth. As tenant of the Kochler Alm, he tended up to 80 young cattle there every summer for six weeks for 50 years. The pasture was his constant place of strength and retreat. Friends and family describe Anton Samm as very social and straightforward, as a person, behind whose rough shell there was always a big heart.
Requiem will take place at a later date
For a few years he worked as a member of the local council for his home community. The promotion of various clubs was also very important to him.
Now he has died with his family. In the current situation, the requiem has to be postponed to a later point in time.
