The demonstration dedicated to the work of Richard Wagner, which was to be held from July 25, will not take place, announced its organizers.

The famous Wagnerian Opera Festival in Bayreuth (Germany), which was to be held from July 25, has been canceled due to the pandemic of new coronavirus, its organizers announced on Tuesday.

The organizers "regret having to cancel the 2020 edition due to the epidemic," they announced on the Festival website. The current containment rules made it particularly difficult to organize rehearsals which were to start in the coming days.
