Burmese government spokesperson said first coronavirus death in the country on Tuesday, adding that a 69-year-old man who had cancer and had been hospitalized in the capital Rangoon.

In a statement, the health ministry said the man had sought medical care in Australia and had stopped over in Singapore before returning to Burma.
Fourteen cases of coronavirus contamination have been confirmed by the Burmese authorities, most of them returnees from trips abroad.
