The General Electricity Company of Hama workshops repaired all breakdowns and interruptions on the electrical network caused by prevailing weather conditions due to the low air and strong winds during the past two days, which caused damage to the medium and low tension lines.

The company’s general manager, Eng. Muhammad Al-Ra’idi, stated in a statement to the SANA correspondent that the repair and emergency workshops had fixed the faults in the electrical network in the behavioral village in the west of the governorate and the maintenance of the Jeb Ramla line for medium tension (20 kV), in addition to addressing the collapse of the medium tension network (20 kV) On a highway of Salhab Abu Qbeis, with a length of (400 meters), where the network was rehabilitated, with the exchange of broken tension insulators and maintenance of bars, and the boycott of the Al-Safa Western Transformation Center and the intermediate tension line (20 kV) on the Al-Hurra line in the Suqaylabiyah region.

He explained that the workshops carried out the work of connecting and investing new electric cables instead of damaged cables as a result of excessive loads in the city of Mharda and the replacement of a damaged cable in Deir Shamil in Masyaf area.

Al-Raidi said that the frequent breakdowns were the result of strong winds and heavy loads, pointing to the efforts of emergency workers to fix the faults despite the difficult weather conditions.
