The Russian presidency announced that, based on an agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American Donald Trump, Moscow and Washington continue to discuss practical cooperation between the two countries to combat the spread of the Corona virus.
Sputnik quoted Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying at a press conference today: The conversation that took place between the two presidents yesterday about the Corona virus was constructive as the two sides exchanged information on the epidemic stating that “the content was very large and lengthy in terms of time, and a very detailed exchange of information was made About the actions our governments take in the fight against the virus. ”
Commenting on the US President's statement on Russian medical assistance to the United States, Peskov said: "The issue was addressed in the conversation between leaders, and the importance of international cooperation in the context of combating this virus was stressed."
Trump had announced earlier that Russia had sent a large plane equipped with medical supplies to the United States, and so did China.
On the other hand, Pskov said that Putin and Trump spoke in their phone calls about the current oil prices and market that are not in the interest of the two countries, indicating that they agreed to hold consultations on this issue through energy ministers.
