As part of the precautionary measures to tackle the Corona virus, the Ministry of Health has prepared a quarantine center at the Al-Jameel Plaza Hotel in Al-Sayeda Zainab area in Damascus countryside to host arrivals from outside Syria for a period of 14 days to ensure that they are safe from the emerging corona virus and to preserve public safety and prevent the spread of the virus.
The center, which is one of the three centers for quarantine in Damascus countryside, includes several hotel rooms with all its equipment and services and provides through a specialized medical team daily medical checks for residents to ensure that no symptoms appear on them such as fever, cough and shortness of breath and in the event of any symptoms are recorded the necessary laboratory investigations are conducted according to the supervisors of the center .
A SANA camera visited the center where dozens of people coming from outside Syria reside to check on their infection with the emerging virus, as the Damascus Countryside Health Directorate provides residents of the center and other stone centers with integrated services and personal protection methods such as masks, gloves, etc. and meals in addition to health monitoring around the clock.
